The BenQ AH30ST is engineered specifically for golf simulator setups, combining a short-throw lens, low-offset design, and BenQ-calibrated color accuracy into a projector that installs cleanly, performs reliably, and delivers true-to-course visuals from day one.

The AH30ST's 0.69–0.83 throw ratio places the projector safely behind the golfer — out of the swing path and away from errant pop-up shots. The short throw eliminates the shadow interference that plagues standard throw projectors, giving you a clean, unobstructed hitting zone in rooms where space is at a premium.

A 102.5% projection offset means the image rises naturally above the lens without tilting the unit. Less tilt means less keystone correction, and less keystone correction means a sharper, more accurate image with no geometric distortion eating into your screen real estate.                

BenQ Screen Fill takes it further — automatically switching between 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, and 1:1 native aspect ratios so the image fills your impact screen without stretching, cropping, or wasted borders.

Color Accuracy That Matches the Course

Golf simulation lives and dies on visual realism. The AH30ST uses a 4-LED light source with BenQ-calibrated 95% Rec.709 color accuracy and 30-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors) to render turf tones, sky gradients, and fairway detail with precision that reflects how courses actually look — not washed out, not oversaturated.

At 3,000 ANSI lumens and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, the image holds up in rooms with ambient light and delivers the depth and shadow detail that makes simulation feel immersive rather than flat.

With 16.7ms input lag at 1080p/60Hz, the AH30ST keeps your simulation software and swing data in sync. For systems where timing accuracy matters — and in golf sim, it always does — this keeps the visual feedback tight and the experience smooth.
