Big Moss "The Country Club" Putting Green

The Country Club is Big Moss's full-experience indoor putting green — a 6-foot-wide multi-cup short-game training surface with three regulation cups around the edges, a 3" reduced center cup for accuracy practice, and a wraparound stadium backstop that lets you putt, chip, and pitch from a single station.

Built on a high-density removable foundation that lays dead-flat even over carpet, The Country Club ships with the Break Pad system — slide the pads under the surface to dial in subtle reads, cross-grain breaks, and uphill or downhill putts. Pull the pads and you're back to a tournament-flat reference roll for stroke work. It's the closest at-home setup to a real practice green.

Who The Country Club Is Built For

The Country Club is the choice when you want a true full-feature practice green at home — not a single-cup roll-out mat. The four-cup layout lets you work a real lag-to-tap-in routine: long putts to the edge cups, accuracy putts to the 3" center cup, and chipping or pitching from off the surface onto a defined landing area protected by the stadium backstop. With Break Pads in place, the surface holds reads that mimic course conditions, so you can groove a stroke that returns the face square through breaking putts — not just dead-flat ones. Pick the 6'x10' for a basement or dedicated practice room with at least 11–12 feet of length. Step up to 6'x12' or 6'x15' if you have the floor space and want longer lag putts and more chipping distance.

The Country Club — Common Questions

What's actually included with The Country Club?+
The full kit: the putting green surface, a wraparound stadium backstop, an upgraded chipping mat, 2 limited-flight chipping balls, the Break Pad set, a flag stick, cup sleeves for all regulation cups, and the owner's manual. It's a complete short-game station — nothing else to buy to start practicing.
How does the Break Pad system work?+
The Break Pads are flat shaped inserts that slide under the green's high-density foundation to lift specific areas. Position them differently and you change the break — slight left-to-right, double-breakers, uphill, downhill, cross-grain. Pull them out and the green sits dead flat for a true reference roll. With Break Snakes (sold separately) you can build even more terrain combinations.
Can I really chip and pitch onto it, or is it just a putting green?+
Both. The Country Club is designed for putting, chipping, and pitching. The included upgraded chipping mat gives you a consistent off-green strike surface, the 2 limited-flight balls keep ricochet manageable in a basement or garage, and the wraparound stadium backstop catches shots that overrun the cup. You can run a full short-game routine without leaving the station.
Will it lay flat over carpet?+
Yes. The wrinkle-free rubber-backed surface combined with the high-density removable foundation lays flat over low- and medium-pile carpet without rolling at the edges or developing waves. On hardwood, tile, or concrete it sits even more stable. Very high-pile shag is the only surface we'd avoid.
What's the difference between the 6'x10', 6'x12', and 6'x15' sizes?+
Same width (6 feet) and same feature set — three regulation cups, one 3" accuracy cup, Break Pads, stadium backstop. The difference is putt length and chipping distance. The 6'x10' fits most basements and dedicated rooms. The 6'x12' adds a couple of feet for longer lag putts. The 6'x15' is for serious training rooms where putts approach real course distances with more chipping run-out.
Is the 3" center cup actually useful, or is it a gimmick?+
It's a real training tool. Tour-level players use reduced-size cups in practice to tighten start line and face control — if your stroke can drop a ball into a 3" target, the regulation 4.25" hole feels enormous. Alternating between the edge regulation cups and the 3" center cup is one of the fastest ways to build confidence on short putts.
