BenQ AH700ST | 4000lm Short Throw 1080P Laser Golf Projector
One-Button Setup. Sharp 1080P.
Built To Run.
You want the smartest setup experience in the BenQ lineup — Auto Screen Fit, Quick Focus, Golf Mode — without paying the 4K premium. The AH700ST is the same one-button installation experience as the AK700ST, in a 1080P body at $600 less. Point it at your impact screen, press one button, and the onboard camera detects the edges and fills them precisely. The image is crisp, centered, and full. That's it. You're playing. And when the sim session ends, Cinema Mode with eARC 7.1 channel audio, HLG for live sports, and Game Mode for console and PC turn the same projector into a capable home entertainment system.
Built by BenQ — the world's #1 projector brand for four years running, trusted in homes, boardrooms, classrooms, simulation bays, and commercial installations worldwide. Dedicated golf-simulator projector line since 2021.
Three Things The AH700ST 1080P Laser Projector Gets Right For The Price.
What separates BenQ's smart-setup 1080P short throw laser projector from the rest of the lineup at this price point — and from any 1080P projector without the AH700ST's automation.
Auto Screen Fit — One-Button Setup
Onboard camera detects your impact screen edges and fills them perfectly. Press one button. Supports 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, and 1:1 aspect ratios. The same auto-install experience as the AK700ST flagship — in a 1080P body.
95% Rec.709 + Golf Mode
Highest color accuracy in the BenQ 1080P lineup. Purpose-built Golf Mode calibrates fairway greens and sky blues for natural course reproduction. Cinema, Game, HDR10, HLG, and sRGB modes for everything else.
20,000-Hour Laser + eARC 7.1
IP5X-sealed laser engine. Instant-on. 20,000 hours of consistent output with no lamp replacements. eARC 7.1 channel Dolby Atmos audio passthrough via HDMI. USB-C with DisplayPort.

USB-C with DisplayPort · 10W speaker · 102.5% offset · 360° installation · 192W typical power · 7.28 lbs compact body
What You're Actually Getting.
Auto Screen Fit + Quick Focus — One-Button Setup
Auto Screen Fit uses the AH700ST's onboard camera to automatically detect your impact screen's edges and adjust the projected image to fill them precisely — at full 1080P resolution, across 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, and 1:1 aspect ratios, with no manual alignment required. Gray impact screens are supported. Quick Focus initiates from a single button press, with minor manual fine-tuning to finish. The 1.2× motorized zoom adjusts screen size without physically repositioning the projector.

Golf Mode + 95% Rec.709 — Highest Color In The 1080P Tier
Golf Mode calibrates color specifically for simulation software — optimizing fairway greens, natural skies, and course textures for accurate, immersive reproduction. The AH700ST's 95% Rec.709 color coverage is the highest in BenQ's 1080P projector lineup, with consistent output that doesn't drift or degrade as hours accumulate. Cinema, Game, HDR10, HLG, sRGB, and User picture modes available, all switched directly from the remote.

Short Throw + 3D Keystone + eARC 7.1
The 0.69–0.83 short throw ratio positions the projector safely behind the golfer — out of the swing path, away from pop-up shots, and clear of shadow interference. The 102.5% offset keeps the unit level without excessive tilting. 1.2× motorized zoom covers screen sizes from 100" to 200". 3D Keystone correction handles ±30° vertical, horizontal, and rotation axes simultaneously. eARC via HDMI delivers 7.1 channel Dolby Atmos passthrough through a single cable.

IP5X Laser — 20,000 Hours, Instant-On
The IP5X dustproof sealed laser engine is rated to 20,000 hours of consistent output — years of daily use with no lamp replacements, no brightness degradation, and no warm-up time. The sealed design requires no filter cleaning. At 192W typical power, it's efficient for its output class and uses 15% less energy than traditional lamp projectors at equivalent brightness. The chassis is built with post-consumer recycled materials and is TUV and UL certified.

Picking between AH700ST, AK700ST, and AH500ST?
The AH700ST is the right choice if you want smart Auto Screen Fit setup and Golf Mode at 1080P resolution — same features as the AK700ST flagship without the 4K premium. The AK700ST ($2,899) adds true 4K resolution and curved screen warping for $600 more. The AH500ST ($1,999) trades Auto Screen Fit for ultra-short throw (0.499 fixed) and a longer 38,000-hour Eco laser, but has lower 83% Rec.709 color and lacks eARC. Call (833) 796-4777 if you need help deciding.
